Job Summary:

Your Role:

Kumo® therapists are passionate about providing a high level of customer service to our clients throughout their wellness journey. In the role of a Kumo® Beauty Therapist and Coordinator, you will nurture your clients by:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a diverse range of treatments including advanced skin treatments, sculpting facials, massages, waxing, and other beauty services with genuine care.

  • Conduct thorough consultations to understand the guests' needs and recommend customised treatments and products.

  • Meet targets and KPIs.

  • You must have a keen attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

  • Advise guests on products to meet their skincare needs.

  • Recommend home solutions & self-care routines.

  • Provide an exceptional customer service experience.

  • Maintain a clean & tidy treatment room to ensure a positive client experience.

  • Manage front desk duties such as greeting clients, scheduling appointments, admin, email/phone communication, walk-in sales, and handling payments with professionalism and efficiency.

  • Perform general administrative duties as directed.

  • Coordinate clinic activities, including staff and client scheduling, inventory management, and maintaining cleanliness and organisation.

  • Drive between the Spa and our distribution centre along with errands as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a beauty therapist with expertise in skincare treatments and client consultations.

  • Certification in beauty therapy or a related field is required.

  • Lash and brow lamination skills are a bonus.

  • Keen interest in holistic health and wellbeing.

  • Proven sales skills to promote skincare products and upsell services effectively.

  • Dedication to the wellbeing industry and providing immersive experiences for our clients.

  • Strong communication skills and excellent personal presentation standards.

  • Enjoy sharing your knowledge and expertise for client and personal satisfaction, and interested in further personal and professional development.

  • Capacity to stay calm and poised at busy times, and multitask effectively.

  • Self-motivation to keep busy during quiet times.

  • Passionate about the Kumo® brand and sharing our core values and philosophy.

  • Have a positive and Can-do attitude and be an excellent team member.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to effectively coordinate clinic activities and manage front desk operations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
